Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, using a professional pet sitter has many advantages over alternative methods of caring for your pets. Your pets are creatures of habit just as humans are. If you remove them from their home environment they will be stressed in trying to cope with the changes to their surroundings. Sentinel Pet Care has provided in-home pet sitting services since 1994 to hundreds of clients who can attest that the only place your pet should be is at home.

are not inconvenienced with taking your pet to another location.
How Does The Pet Sitting Service Work?
How many visits per day do you need?
- Healthy cats usually only require one visit per day unless you have a particular dietary routine which requires two visits per day. We can customize any visit schedule that suits your particular needs.
- Dogs require three visits per day. Morning, afternoon and late night 8 hours apart (roughly 8am, 3pm and 11pm).
- We cannot skip visits or provide a lesser degree of service. Please see our policies page for more information.
What do we do during each visit?
- We keep your pet on their familiar, consistent routine.
- We feed, water, exercise and spend quality one-on-one time with your pet.
- Scoop and clean litter boxes.
- We administer medications, supplements and special diets, if applicable.
- We look after your home and property and make efforts to make it appear someone is there full-time by operating alarms, alternating lights, drapes and blinds, and retrieving mail, newspapers and packages.
- We do a daily walk through of your home and property to make sure that the environment is safe for your pet, to make sure that all systems are functioning properly and to be sure that nothing unusual has occured between our visits.
Ultimately, we provide our clients with peace of mind because they know that professionals are caring for their pets and their property while they are free to enjoy their vacation or focus on their business trip.
